Pictured above, is a cheque presentation that took place on Friday the 5th of June 2009 in the W.F. Marshall Education Centre, Sixmilecross. The W.F. Marshall Education Centre raised £4614.00 through the knitting and selling of Easter chicks, selling of Christmas wreaths and through donations.
Care for Cancer would like to thank all those who contributed to the knitting, selling, organisation and donations and to the W.F. Marshall Centre for choosing Care for Cancer as their chosen charity for 2009. |

Patrick McCarney 80th Birthday Celebrations

Pictured above is Mr Patrick McCarney from Fintona who recently celebrated his 80th birthday in Fintona Golf Club. Donations were given on the night and Mr. McCarney presented Care for Cancer representative, Jim Alderdice, with a cheque for £2385 for Care for Cancer.
Care for Cancer would like to thank Mr. McCarney for choosing Care for Cancer to which he donated this fantastic sum of money and to all those who attended his birthday celebrations and donated money.

Cappagh YFC Charity Knockout and Draw
Cappagh Young Farmers Club held their Annual Knockout and draw in Omagh Rugby Club on Friday 31st July 2009. The club donated all proceeds from the evening to Care for Cancer, who has helped club members families through difficult times and the club wanted to acknowledge the service and support they give to the local community. The total amount raised was £1641.10
Care for Cancer would like to thank Cappagh YFC for their hard work, effort and generosity and for choosing Care for Cancer to donate the money to.
