Services

Care for Cancer is a local charity that provides information, advice and practical support to individuals and families who have been touched by cancer in the surrounding areas of Omagh

The services currently offered by the charity are:

- Information and advice in our resource centre at 1 Campsie Place, Omagh (Behind Helen's Hair Salon, next to the Bank of Ireland). Telephone: 028 82246599

- The provision of transport to patients for hospital appointments, where regular transport is unavailable.

- A Support group for those living with cancer.

- Complementary Therapies such as Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Reiki for those living with cancer and their carers.

- Sign posting to Professional counselling for patients, family and friends.

- A "Be-friending" , "Listening Ear" and "Sitting Service" to individuals and families.

The creation of a better understanding of cancer, heightening public awareness by giving talks to local community groups and organising public information evenings.
